Remembering Katrina

Katrina 19 is a visual narrative that is deeply rooted in my harrowing personal experience of the storm. I was trapped on a roof for four days during the height of Hurricane Katrina. After being rescued by a military helicopter, I was driven by an unwavering commitment to return to New Orleans, retrieve my gear from the attic where we slept during those intensely humid nights and document the extensive devastation and the city’s arduous path towards rebuilding.
